Gold Hill, Oregon
No crowds, no noise — just river sounds, tall pines, and a quiet place to call home while you explore Southern Oregon.
Welcome
The Area
Valley of the Rogue Campground sits adjacent to the Rogue River State Park — one of the longest protected river corridors in Oregon. From our door, you can launch a canoe, follow the river trail, or simply sit on your site and listen to water moving over stone.
Gold Hill itself is a former mining town with a quiet downtown, local eateries, and easy access to the Siskiyou Trail and the Rogue River Trail system. In summer, the river runs warm and clear; in autumn, the canyon walls turn gold.
